Day 6: I’m not the most optimistic person in the world, though I am content for the most part. However, I notice a lot of people around me seem to be stuck in this rut lately, as if there’s always something missing and they’re a spark away from being truly alive.

In everyday conversations we tend to talk and vent about our stress and worries instead of things that make us happy. It’s within our comfort zone and it’s the easier way out, even though we’d much rather spend more time being happy. Let’s change that.

Question is, what makes you happy?

    I’ve decided that the next time I run into a coworker at the office or random person at the kitchen/breakroom, instead of talking about the weather or the latest stressers, I would start asking about their “next” vacation plans. That makes for more interesting conversation. And gives me ideas for my next trip. win win 🙂

      Do it! That’s the exact point I’m trying to make. We all prefer to be happy (than not), but we don’t tend to talk about that much.
