100w100d: Nostalgia

Day 57: It’s easy to reminisce the past, to stay stagnant and just be happy to be where you are. In many cases, it’s important to stay grounded — my dad loves to remind us his progress from growing up in a small shack to now retiring in his own house with his own garden. I get it.

But that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t look ahead and aim for my next level in life. While the past is what you have to embrace, the future is entirely in your hands. It’s only November, but I’m eager to see where I’ll land in 2014.
