100w100d: My Dad

Day 45: My dad is turning 67 years old this year. He’s accomplished a lot of things in his life: singlehandedly raised his siblings at 17, started his own business, gave up everything and emigrated us to America, only to drop everything (again) to take care of my ill mother a few years back. The ultimate explorer, he constantly traverses Life’s peaks and valleys with ease.

Technology finally clicked for him when I got him an iPad a couple years ago, touching and swiping his way around the digital unknown within minutes. He’s my lighthouse, always guiding me to keep moving forward.
