Day 56: With a last-minute work meeting set in San Francisco later this week, I decided to drive up Friday night so I can spend the weekend with my family. There’s always a good feeling to be home, as if I’ve left everything behind just to be a kid again, at least for a weekend.
It’s only August when I was last in NorCal, but it felt a lot longer for some reason. My parents get just a bit older each time I visit them, which is quite a scary thought, though I suppose they probably think the same thing about me.
